Kawien Ziedses des Plantes has over 20 years of experience in financial services and sustainable finance, with a strong focus on impact, ESG and evidence-based decision-making. As Head of Sustainable Impact and Capacity Building at Oikocredit, she ensures that investments contribute to inclusive and sustainable development. Kawien works with a wide range of stakeholders to strengthen transparency, solid reporting and meaningful impact measurement, ensuring improvements into people's lives.
Rubén Léon has over 10 years of experience in Ecuador and Latin America, focussing on financial inclusion, the solidarity economy and microfinance. He has worked extensively with grassroots organisations and financial institutions to build more inclusive financial systems. Since joining Oikocredit in 2022, Rubén has played a key role in advancing the organisation's impact measurement through the End-Client Survey Programe, strengthening client-level outcome measurement and evidence-based decision making across various partners and contexts.
